See where an asset was last reported
Open an asset's Location tab to see where it was last reported on a map, its coordinates, and how long ago the position came in.
A truck is not where the board says it should be, or you want to check a machine really made it to site. Each asset's Location tab shows where it was last reported.
Positions come from your fleet tracking through Assignar Connect. Nobody types them in, and nothing on the tab changes them.
Open the Location tab
- In the sidebar, select Resources, then Assets, and open the asset.
- Select the Location tab.
With a reported position you see:
- A map with the asset's last position pinned. Zoom with the + and − buttons, or drag the map.
- Coordinates: the latitude and longitude, to five decimal places. The copy button beside them copies the pair, so you can paste it into your maps app.
- Reported: when that position came in, in your organisation's time zone, and how long ago that was, such as 12 minutes ago.
The tab shows the latest position only. An older one is replaced when a newer one arrives.
An asset that has never reported a position shows No location reported yet. Connect your fleet tracking to Assignar Connect, and the first position it sends fills the tab.
