Import and export data
Move data in and out of Assignar Pay as files: export reports, pay results, timesheets and invoices, and import lists, timesheets, Business Units and documents.
When you don't need a live connection to another system, move data in and out of Assignar Pay as files. Each item below links to the page with the steps.
Export
- Reports. Build a report on any of your data, then export it as an Excel workbook, a CSV or a text file. See Export a report. To send the same figures regularly, email a dashboard on a schedule.
- Pay results. Export a pay period's results as a CSV or JSON file, or copy them straight into Excel. See Mark timesheets reviewed and export.
- Timesheets. Export the timesheets that match your filters as a CSV or JSON file, or copy them into Excel. See Export timesheets.
- Invoices. Export the invoice list as a CSV file, then move each invoice to Exported once it's in your accounting software. See Export the invoice list.
Import
- With Milo. Upload a CSV or Excel file, or paste a list, and Milo creates or updates your cost codes, clients, projects, orders, suppliers, roles, activities, materials, assets and tags. You check every row before anything is saved. See Import data with Milo.
- Timesheets. Import timesheets from a CSV file on the Timesheets list. See Import timesheets from a CSV file.
- Cost codes and GL accounts. Paste cost codes from a spreadsheet, or set GL accounts from a CSV file. See Import cost codes.
- Business Units. Create Business Units, or assign them to records, from a CSV file. See Import Business Units from a CSV.
- Supplier invoices. Upload an invoice or receipt and Assignar Pay reads it for you. See Import an invoice document.
- Figures kept elsewhere. Bring a CSV or Excel file, such as a budget, into a report sheet. See Import a file.
To send records across as soon as they're ready instead of exporting files, see Integrations.
