The Board

The scheduler board is a grid: orders down the left, days across the top. Each cell shows what an order needs on that day and who's been allocated to it.

The date window

• The board shows a window of days (choose the range — one week, two weeks, or a month — from the range selector in the toolbar). The toolbar also holds Refresh, the Resources drawer toggle, and + New Order.
• Use the ‹ › arrows to page the window backwards and forwards, or pick a date directly.
• Today returns you to the current week, with today's column in view and highlighted. The window stays aligned to Monday so the week always reads naturally.
• Today's column is accented; days before today are tinted and read-only (see Forward-Only Planning); weekends are lightly shaded.

The utilisation percentage under each day's header shows how much of that day's total demand across all visible orders has been filled.

Order rows

Each order row shows the order's identity at a glance:

• Order number and title, with an Edit ↗ link straight to the order.
• Location and current status — the status can be changed directly from the row for statuses that make sense to set from the board.
• Dates — the order's active range.

Every order with days in the visible window appears on the board.

Demand cards

Inside each day cell, every resource requirement shows as a card:

• The role or asset being asked for, with its planned times (e.g. "Carpenter · 07:00–15:00").
• The fill state — 2/4 means two allocated of four required. The colour tells you where it stands: neutral while nothing's allocated yet (demand isn't an error), green when exactly filled, amber when partially filled, red when over-allocated.
• The allocated chips — the workers/assets on that requirement for that day. When more fit than the card can show, a +N chip holds the overflow; open it to see (and drag) the rest.
• + add — click to allocate without dragging.

Below the requirement cards, a role-less lane holds allocations made without a specific requirement. In rare cases you may also see a chip here with a small marker meaning the requirement it was filling has since been removed from the order — the allocation is kept visible rather than hidden, so you can still see it and deal with it.

The Resources drawer

The Resources panel on the right lists your workers and assets, searchable, in two tabs. Drag a resource from the drawer onto any demand card or day cell to allocate it. Search handles large workforces without slowing down.

Loading and errors

Cells load in windows as you navigate. If a load fails, the affected cells show an error with a Retry so you can reload just those cells, and the Refresh button in the toolbar reloads the whole window.
