Add an email signature

Save a signature once and it is added to the end of every bid and invoice email you send.

Your signature belongs to you, not your organization: it signs the bid and invoice emails you send, in every organization you belong to. Other people's emails carry their own signature, or none.

Save your signature

  1. Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Settings.
  2. Under Email signature, type your signature, for example your name, role and phone number. It is plain text, up to 1,000 characters, and keeps the line breaks you type.
  3. Select Save.

You see Email signature saved. If it can't save, you see Could not save your email signature. Please try again.

To stop signing your emails, clear the box and select Save. You see Email signature removed.

What your clients see

When you open Send by email on a bid or an invoice, your signature is already at the end of the Message, and the dialog says Your email signature is included at the end. Edit it in your account settings. You can change or delete it in the message for that one send; your saved signature stays as it is.

Your signature replaces the closing line the built-in message ends with, "Regards," and your organization's name. If your organization has set its own Default message, your signature is added after it.

Emails you send to several invoices at once from the invoice list carry your signature too.

Without a signature, the dialog links to your settings: Add an email signature in your account settings to sign these emails automatically.
