Cost control

Set up the cost codes, categories, default rates and GL accounts that your pay rates, orders, quotes and invoices share, and the Business Units your records belong to.

Cost codes are your organization's price list. Each one names a piece of work, a role, a material or a piece of equipment, with its unit and default rates, and sits in a category so you can group and report on it. You find them in the sidebar under Settings, then Cost Codes.

Set up cost codes

Create and edit cost codes, group them into categories and subcategories, and deactivate, delete or restore the ones you no longer use.

Import cost codes

Paste up to 100 cost codes at once from a spreadsheet, upload a longer list to Milo, set GL accounts from a CSV file, fix rows with errors, and bring cost codes across from Assignar Operations.

Manage Business Units

Keep one list of your Business Units, set them on records and locations, choose which Business Unit wins on a timesheet, docket or invoice line, build your GL code template, and import Business Units from a CSV file.
