When a crew does not fit the day’s current quantity, you can expand the day in the same flow instead of leaving the dialog and editing cell by cell.

• Confirmed, not automatic — you decide whether to expand, so demand on the order only changes when you accept

Where you'll find it: Scheduler when deploying a crew onto an order×day cell. If a role is already full, the deploy dialog can offer to expand that day’s quantity first.

Getting started

• Documents & merges: Open a document or merge template that uses Excel, PowerPoint, LibreOffice, or images. Generate or merge the output and confirm a single problem field does not stop the rest of the pack.
• Chart labels: Open Reports → create or edit a chart (Create chart from this sheet or Chart Library). Confirm automatic axis titles, then optionally set X-axis title / Y-axis title.
• SoR duplication: Open Schedule of Rates. On an item, allowance, fee, or minimum-engagement rule, use Duplicate and confirm the copy keeps scoping and linked roles.
• Payroll rules: In Pay Rates, review minimum engagement, breaks, rest days, overtime, and public holiday rules on a timesheet that includes a complex or penalty day.
• Payroll accuracy: Process or preview a timesheet with weekend or public-holiday penalty plus a short shift that should top up for minimum engagement. Confirm the penalty is not added twice and the minimum-engagement top-up looks right.
• Scheduler toolbar: Open Scheduler. Use the axis tabs (Orders / Workers / Assets), date navigation, and View menu. Confirm order Dates stay visible on the row.
• Crew expand: Deploy a crew onto a day whose quantity is smaller than the crew. Confirm the dialog offers to expand the day’s quantity, and that declining leaves demand unchanged.
• Job costing columns: Open Job Costing on an order. Use the column configurator on Bid View and Transactions, then print or export the PDF and confirm the same columns and order.
• Docket cost codes: Open a docket and confirm cost codes appear on rate lines.
• Xero inventory codes: Open the Xero Invoice Import report, refresh data, and confirm inventory codes on SoR / plant lines.
• Scheduling guides: Read the updated Scheduling docs for the toolbar, views, crews, and bulk changes.

Permissions: Scheduling requires orders.view (see Setup & Access). Custom Reports require finance.reports. Document merge, Schedule of Rates, Job Costing, and Xero import reporting use the same access already required for those modules.

Release details

Rollout: Updates in this note are rolling out on the standard Assignar Pay release cadence across accounts. Document and merge template improvements, chart axis labels, SoR rule duplication, payroll accuracy and rule-management updates, scheduler toolbar and crew-quantity expand, job-costing column configuration, docket cost-code visibility, Xero inventory-code reporting, and the security and validation updates listed here apply on the normal release path. Xero Invoice Import inventory codes apply where the Xero integration and that report are enabled for the tenant. Schedule of Rates duplication is available in the V2 charge-rules editor.
