We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

15. SMS Messaging & Consent

If your organization has enabled SMS through Assignar Pay, we will use your mobile number to deliver text messages on your company's behalf. We use it solely to deliver the messages your company sends through the Service and the related carrier-required system messages (such as opt-in confirmations).

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. The mobile information, opt-in data, and consent of end users who opt in to our text messaging program are never shared or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators. Mobile/SMS data is shared only with the service providers strictly necessary to deliver your company's messages (for example, the telecommunications carrier that delivers the message), and where required by law.

How you opt in

End users opt in by signing into Assignar Pay and adding their mobile number to their account profile. The profile form includes a notice indicating that, by adding a mobile number, the user agrees to occasionally receive text messages from their company through Assignar Pay. Message and data rates may apply.

Additionally, end users can opt in by texting START to the sender number their company has been provisioned. The sender number is country-specific (Australia, United States, or Canada) and is visible to administrators of the relevant company account inside Assignar Pay.

How you opt out

You can remove your mobile number from your profile settings at any time to stop receiving messages through the Service. You can also reply STOP to any text message you receive to opt out at the carrier level. Replying HELP returns contact information for support. Replies to START, STOP, and HELP are free of charge from the recipient.

Message frequency & content

Message frequency varies and is determined by your company's use of the Service. Messages are operational in nature — shift assignments, schedule changes, site updates, broadcasts from administrators — and are not marketing communications from Assignar Pay. Your mobile number is stored encrypted at rest and is accessible only to authorised members of your company's Assignar Pay account, to our service providers under contract, and to the carrier delivering the message.

For the full agreement governing your use of the Service, including SMS, see our Terms of Service. The other sections of this Privacy Policy describe how we collect, store, and use the personal data associated with your account. Questions about SMS specifically can be sent to privacy@assignar.com.
