What's new

Form Template Favorites

Crews waste time scrolling through long lists of forms on-site. Now you can pin the templates you use every day so they're front and centre the next time you open Forms.

What it does:

  • Lets users mark form templates as favorites for one-tap access
  • Surfaces pinned templates at the top of the templates list
  • Reduces the number of clicks between opening Forms and submitting

Where you'll find it: Open Forms -> Templates and tap the favorite icon on any template to pin it.

Who benefits: Foremen and site crews running the same daily checks (prestarts, JSAs, inductions). Office admins who manage a large template library and want their most-used forms one tap away.

Payroll Imports -- Activities in CSV Timesheets

CSV timesheet imports now carry Activities through to the imported records, so your cost tracking and reporting stays aligned with what actually happened on-site.

What it does:

  • Includes Activities data when importing timesheets from CSV
  • Maps Activities to the resulting timesheet records automatically
  • Keeps activity-level job costing consistent across imported and native timesheets

Where you'll find it: During the CSV timesheet import flow -- no new setup required. Activities columns are picked up alongside existing fields.

Who benefits: Payroll administrators importing large batches of hours from external systems. Finance teams who rely on activity-level cost allocation for job costing and reporting.

Supplier Feature Visibility

Suppliers logging into the portal can now see which features their engaging company has enabled for them -- no more guesswork about what they can and can't do.

What it does:

  • Displays a clear view of enabled features for each supplier
  • Removes ambiguity about available actions in the supplier portal
  • Reduces support requests and back-and-forth with the head contractor

Where you'll find it: In the supplier portal, feature availability is now surfaced directly in the UI.

Who benefits: Suppliers who move between multiple head contractors and need to know what each one has enabled. Head contractors who want to reduce inbound "can I do X?" questions.

In-App Changelog Refresh

The in-app changelog has been refreshed so teams can catch up on the latest platform updates without leaving Assignar Pay.

What it does:

  • Surfaces the latest product updates directly inside the app
  • Keeps release notes and changelog entries aligned with what's live
  • Helps teams adopt new features as soon as they ship

Where you'll find it: Accessible from the in-app navigation -- check it after each release to see what's new.

Who benefits: Every Assignar Pay user, especially champions rolling out new features to their teams.

Improvements

Document Viewer

The document viewer is faster and clearer, so plans, purchase orders, and attachments open without breaking your flow.

  • Improved rendering performance for large PDFs and multi-page documents
  • Cleaner visuals when reviewing scanned plans or marked-up drawings
  • Stay in-app instead of downloading files just to read them

Internationalization & Terminology

More control over language and organization-specific terminology means your teams see the words they actually use on-site.

  • Expanded i18n coverage across additional screens and flows
  • Organization terminology settings apply more consistently across modules
  • Easier to tailor Assignar Pay for teams that use different trade or regional vocabulary

Why it matters for construction teams

For site crews and foremen: Favoriting form templates means your daily prestart or JSA is always one tap away -- no more scrolling through dozens of options at the start of shift. The faster document viewer lets you pull up a plan or PO on a tablet in the field without waiting for downloads.

For payroll administrators: Activities flowing through CSV timesheet imports removes a manual reconciliation step between imported hours and activity-based job costing. Stronger weekly OT and cost code rules mean fewer pay run corrections after the fact.

For finance and project teams: Consistent activities across imported and native timesheets keeps job costing reports accurate without extra cleanup. Internationalization and terminology improvements mean reports and screens read the way your organization actually talks about work.

For suppliers and subbies: Seeing exactly which features are enabled for you in each head contractor's portal removes ambiguity and reduces the back-and-forth when something looks missing.

Real-world impact:

  • Fewer taps to submit forms: Favoriting cuts daily form navigation for site crews
  • Cleaner payroll imports: Activities carried through from CSV means no manual patch-up
  • Faster document review: Plans and POs open quicker on slower on-site connections
  • Less support noise: Supplier feature visibility reduces "can I do this?" questions
  • Smarter assistant answers: Milo grounded in your own documents gives more accurate help
