  • Displays actual unit costs alongside order quantities and totals
  • Provides instant visibility into cost vs. budget for every line item
  • Helps identify margin risks before orders are approved
  • Enables faster approval workflows by surfacing cost data upfront
  • Eliminates manual cost lookups during order review

Where you'll find it: Navigate to Orders in the main menu, then open any order to view line items with actual unit cost data. The cost information appears directly in the line item details for quick reference during review and approval.

Who benefits: Project managers and procurement teams who need to protect margins and validate costs before approving orders. Finance teams gain better visibility into actual spend vs. budgeted amounts, while foremen can make more informed decisions about material orders in the field.

📥 SOR Transactions CSV Bulk Import

Upload Schedule of Rates transactions directly from your spreadsheets, eliminating manual data entry for rate updates.

What it does:

  • Bulk-load SOR rate transactions from CSV files
  • Processes multiple rate updates in a single upload
  • Validates data format and highlights any errors before import
  • Saves hours of manual data entry for large rate schedules
  • Maintains data accuracy by importing directly from your source files

Where you'll find it: Navigate to Schedule of RatesTransactionsImport CSV. Select your formatted CSV file, map the columns, and review the preview before confirming the import.

Who benefits: Payroll administrators and rate managers who maintain large Schedule of Rates libraries. This feature is particularly valuable during EBA updates, annual rate reviews, or when onboarding new clients with complex rate structures.

Why it matters for construction teams

For procurement and site teams: The Actual Unit Cost visibility means you can make faster, more confident decisions about material orders. When you're in the field and need to approve an order quickly, you'll instantly see whether the pricing protects your margin or requires escalation. No more waiting for callbacks from the office to verify costs—the data is right there when you need it.

For business development: Professional quote PDFs directly impact your close rate. When clients receive clear, well-formatted quotes, they can review and approve them faster. Better presentation quality demonstrates your company's professionalism and attention to detail—qualities that win contracts in competitive bidding situations.

For payroll administrators: The SOR transactions CSV import transforms what used to be a multi-hour manual data entry task into a minutes-long upload. During EBA renewals or annual rate reviews, you can process hundreds of rate updates in bulk rather than entering them one by one. This reduces errors, saves time, and ensures rate changes go live when they're supposed to.

For finance teams: Better cost visibility on order line items improves budget tracking and variance analysis. You'll spot cost overruns earlier, have better data for job costing reviews, and gain confidence that approved orders align with project budgets.

Real-world impact:

  • Time saved: Bulk CSV imports reduce rate update time from hours to minutes
  • Fewer errors: Direct cost visibility reduces margin protection failures and budget overruns
  • Faster cycles: Enhanced quotes streamline client approval processes
