What's new

Feature 1: Quote Assemblies — Add Units for Precision

Assemblies in your quotes can now include units like hours, tons, or meters, giving you precise control over pricing, progress tracking, and reporting.

  • What it does: Adds measurement units (hours/tons/meters) to quote assemblies, making it easy to calculate accurate pricing and track work progress against specific measurements.
  • Where it lives: Quote assemblies within the Quoting module under Project Management.
  • Who benefits: Estimators, project managers, and finance teams who need granular control over bid units and progress measurement.
  • Impact: More accurate quotes, clearer progress reporting, and fewer billing disputes when quantities are tied to real-world measurements.

Feature 2: Dockets — Custom Questions in Details

Site-specific custom questions and answers are now visible directly in docket details, putting compliance data and field answers in context.

  • What it does: Displays custom question responses within the docket detail view so you can see site-specific data (safety checks, conditions, equipment status) without switching screens.
  • Where it lives: Docket detail pages.
  • Who benefits: Site supervisors, compliance officers, and project managers who need quick access to field-collected data.
  • Impact: Faster compliance reviews, better context for decision-making, and reduced time hunting for answers across systems.

Feature 3: Quoting — Reported vs Bid with Progress %

Compare what you bid against what's been reported with a new progress percentage column and clearer column ordering for instant insight.

  • What it does: Shows bid vs. reported quantities side-by-side with a visual progress percentage, helping you spot variances and track completion at a glance.
  • Where it lives: Quote comparison views in the Quoting module.
  • Who benefits: Project managers, estimators, and finance teams tracking job performance and variance.
  • Impact: Catch overruns earlier, improve forecasting accuracy, and make faster decisions on change orders or scope adjustments.

Why it matters for construction teams

  • Get paid accurately: Units on assemblies mean your invoices match the actual work done—fewer disputes, faster approvals.
  • Reduce compliance delays: Custom question answers in context let compliance officers review and sign off without switching tools or hunting for paperwork.
  • Spot variances faster: Bid vs. reported comparisons with progress % help PMs catch issues before they become costly problems.
  • Save time on payroll: Centralized pay rates, clearer allowance breakdowns, and fixed employment types reduce rework and speed up weekly processing.
  • Work smarter with AI: Auto-titled conversations and better document handling make it easier to find past answers and reference project history.
